Course Description: Historically, Endodontics has been viewed as a prescription-based specialty. It revolves
around performing root canal therapy. Significant confusion and challenges still exist in performing this
procedure. Complex nature of root canal morphology and intricate knowledge of it can make pathway for stress
free root canal procedure. This case-based presentation will go through a step-by-step approach in identifying
and preparing root canals. This presentation will rather focus on the systematic approach to root canal system
than talking about a root canal file system.
Course and Learning Objectives --- Course attendees will:
● Overview of Root Canal morphology.
● Overview on how to identify Root Canal system.
● Overview of approaching and performing Root Canal.

Dr. Pushpak Narayana earned his BDS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bengaluru,
India. Prior to his formal endodontic training, he practiced general dentistry for seven years and went on to
participate in a Fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Florida. He completed his endodontic training at
the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine),
receiving an MDS degree and a Certification in Endodontics. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of
Endodontics. Dr. Narayana maintains a private practice in endodontics and implant dentistry in Lady Lake,
Florida. He serves on the faculty of the Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine as an adjunct associate
professor in the Department of Endodontics, where he teaches postgraduate residents.

The dinner served will be Chicken Marsala with Angel Hair Pasta and Fresh Seasonal Vegetable, Traditional Caesar
Salad with Garlic Croutons & House Caesar Dressing, Warm Rolls and Sweet Butter, Iced Tea, Freshly Brewed
Regular and Decaffeinated Coffee, Hot Teas and Key Lime Pie. A Vegetarian meal will also be available for those who
prefer one.

can simply type the requested information in your registration message and you do not have to send a copy of the
registration form. Please note that to be considered a current Central Florida AGD member and attend at no charge,
your 2024 AGD dues must be paid unless you are an Emeritus member. You will receive an email reply when your
registration has been confirmed.

The last day to register for this course is Monday, April 8, 2024.

Please notify Dr. Patel, preferably before the registration deadline, if your plans change and you can’t attend.
You must be pre-registered to attend and your registration is not complete until you receive an email
confirmation. Registrants who are not current Central Florida AGD members should mail the completed registration form
and a check for $50.00 payable to “Central Florida AGD” to Dr. Patel at the address listed above. Since food must be
pre-ordered, no checks will be returned or refunded for no-shows or those who cancel after the registration deadline.

Please note that attendees may not bring a guest without prior approval from Dr. Patel, the course administrator.

Each approved guest will be charged $50.00. Checks must be received before the registration deadline listed above.
