🦷 Implant Overdentures Workshop (6 Hours)

Giving Your Patient Every Option When Facing Partial or Complete Edentulism

Over 11% of the U.S. population is fully edentulous, and many patients settle for tissue-supported dentures they never truly wanted—simply because they didn’t know better options existed. Implant-retained removable prostheses can be life-changing, yet most general dentists receive little to no formal training in overdentures during dental school.

This hands-on workshop empowers dentists to confidently offer implant overdenture solutions—whether or not they place implants themselves.

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain confidence in offering implant overdentures in your practice
  • Understand treatment options when implants are not perfectly parallel
  • Learn the full workflow for locator attachments and denture fabrication
  • Hands-on experience picking up metal housings and retention caps on your own denture model
  • Understand long-term maintenance and patient management

Suggested Audience: Dentists & Full Dental Team

👨‍⚕️ About Dr. Gupta

Ankur A. Gupta, DDS, after completing a one-year GPR in Cleveland, started a practice from scratch in 2005. Armed with what he considered adequate dental knowledge, hand skills, and a personable demeanour, he watched as his practice struggled, finances became unpredictable, and his physical and mental well-being declined.

Rather than continue down that path, he turned his practice—and himself—into a testing ground for meaningful personal and professional improvement.

Today, Dr. Gupta enjoys strong patient growth, high case acceptance, a solution-oriented team, and a renewed sense of purpose in dentistry. He shares both his failures and successes with audiences nationwide, always delivering practical, step-by-step strategies that can be implemented immediately.

Dr. Gupta graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2004 and completed a General Practice Residency in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the co-founder of North Ridgeville Family Dentistry and is actively involved in organized dentistry as a speaker, educator, and AGD/PACE-certified provider.
