The program provider organization,
institution or individual is approved, specific courses, programs,
lecturers, publications or audiovisual materials. An applicant may be
a major unit or department within an organization or institution
(e.g., oral surgery department within a medical center). To be
eligible for Florida Program Approval for Continuing Education the
following criteria must be met:
- The program provider must be
intrastate in scope, putting on programs in Florida or drawing a
significant amount of participants from Florida only.
- The program provider must have been
offering a planned program of continuing dental education activities
for at least 12 months.
- The program provider must be located
or have a permanent base in Florida.
